I envision this as a twisted love song about a man who loves a woman through anything. The woman may cheat, lie and steal to support her fantasies, but he still loves her at the end of the day. I am lucky to have never fallen into a relationship like this one.

I'm not sure about the first time that I hears this song. It seems to have always been inside my head, humming away in the background. I want to say that I heard it in a movie, but I can't be sure. I stumbled upon this album after hearing another song called "AMY". It was different and inviting.

This song seem simple enough, but the melody gets easily caught in your brain. I haven't heard this song for a few months, before today, yet it infested my brain enough to seek it out and put it up here. That's what a good song will do to you.

Whatever you do, don't call out for a Bryan Adams song at a Ryan Adams concert. He has been known to fly off the handle at the mention of "Summer Of '69" and will more than likely stop a concert to get his point across. Come to think of it, that sounds like it could be fun!

The National Anthem - Radiohead

It's not so much the lyrics that make the song, it's the way they become part of the song itself. It changes from a simple bass line into a Charles Mingus style free jazz number. The brass section actually mimics the main riff of the song. It sounds like a controlled chaos that will unhinge at any given moment.

This song has become the standard opener for Radiohead concerts. It sets the perfect tone for the show ahead. This feels like the night will hold anything. A new, vital experience will await the listener upon arrival.

I remember the first day that I listened to Kid A, in its entirety. I was heading to a Humanities class on a Saturday morning. I took that class for credit and for the subject matter. I took it on a Saturday because the class was condensed. It only took eight Saturdays and I was given full credit.

The car ride home featured this album. I enjoyed the experience of the album so much, that I took a drive, instead of going home. This way, I was able to listen to all the incredible new sounds. I wasn't the biggest fan of Radiohead, but this album and many that followed, spoke to me in a new light. I even went back and relistened to their older albums with new ears.
