This was a nightly request every time that I DJed at the vampire LARP. Someone would eventually come up to me and ask me to play it. It fit into the themes, but it got old fast. For one thing, the song is almost ten minutes long. I have no problem with the length of a song, but when it's a popular request, it grates every second on the fourth night in a row.

Thankfully, it's been close to a decade since I've spun this song in a club setting. I can enjoy the song and many others that were overplayed. I can still see the mix of fog, lights and costumes whenever this pops up. It's a picture that I will always remember.

This song marks a change in the public's perception of the band. This album actually charted high in the UK. It is considered a goth classic, even though the band claims to dislike the label of "goth".

Here, for no apparent reason is an anime version of the album version of the song.
